Best Practices for Submitting Photos Through Our Customer Portal
When submitting a return that requires photos, providing clear and complete images helps us process your request as quickly as possible.
To make this easier than ever, we have updated our process to a new photo wizard style that allows you to submit your photos step-by-step. Simply follow the onscreen prompts, and the wizard will walk you through the entire process to ensure your photo submission is successful.
Here are a few best practices to follow as you use the wizard:
1. Follow the Photo Request Instructions
After starting your return, you’ll receive a picture request link that outlines exactly what photos are needed. When you launch the photo wizard, be sure to:
- Carefully review the request: Pay close attention to what each step is asking for.
- Submit all required photos: Depending on your return, this may include images of the product, packaging, shipping box, or specific areas of damage.
- Provide the correct number and type of photos: Completing every step in the wizard helps avoid processing delays. Photo examples will be provided along the way.
2. Check Photo Size & Format
The photo wizard is designed to accept standard formats, but it's always good to make sure your files aren't too large or too small to upload. If you run into any issues during the step-by-step process, try the following:
- Use standard image formats like JPG or PNG.
- Reduce the photo file size if it's too large (most smartphones have a setting for this, or will automatically adjust the size for web uploads).
3. Tips for Clear Photos
The higher the quality of your images, the faster our team can approve your return. For the best results:
- Take photos in good, natural lighting.
- Ensure items are clearly visible and in focus (not blurry).
- Capture multiple angles if the wizard requests them.
By following these steps, you’ll help us review your return faster and get things resolved quickly. If you need help at any point, our team is here to assist!
